Terms of Use
The publication and these terms
WASABI Media is an independently operated publication, not a representation that a company has been incorporated. These terms govern use of wasaabi.world and related account and contributor services. Read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Creating an account or submitting work involves agreement to the applicable service rules. Optional tracking consent is separate: accepting these terms does not accept analytics cookies. Specific contributor agreements, if agreed separately, can set additional publication terms.
Accounts and eligibility
Use accurate information, keep your credentials private and use password recovery if you lose access. You are responsible for activity you authorize. Report suspected compromise promptly. Accounts require a minimum age of 13, any higher local minimum, and any legally required parent/guardian authorization; contributor accounts require age 18 or over.
Accounts and editorial access can be restricted for abuse, security concerns or breaches of these terms. We may remove unlawful content and provide explanations or review opportunities where appropriate or legally required. Contact us to request account closure; records necessary for legal, security or editorial purposes may need separate assessment.
Acceptable use
Do not upload content you lack authority to share, infringe copyright or privacy, defame or threaten people, impersonate others, publish private identifying information without a lawful basis, send spam, distribute malware, evade access controls or interfere with the site. Do not use account or contributor features for exploitation, unlawful sexual content or other illegal activity.
Do not scrape restricted personal information, bypass technical protections or misrepresent copied material as original. Report suspected unlawful content with its exact URL and an explanation. An allegation alone does not establish that a contributor has broken the law.
Your contributions and permissions
You retain rights you own in your original work. By submitting content for publication or posting it publicly, you grant the operator a non-exclusive permission to host, display, distribute and technically format that content as necessary to operate and promote its publication on WASABI and its publication channels. Service providers may process it for those purposes. This does not transfer ownership or permit unrelated resale of your work.
You must have the rights or lawful permission needed for text, images and other materials you submit. Credit is not a substitute for permission, and labelling a use as a review or fair use does not automatically make it lawful. Editorial review can involve edits, rejection, correction or removal; discuss material edits and separate contributor terms with the desk.
Requests to withdraw work will be assessed against any agreed publication terms, legal obligations and legitimate archival or dispute needs. We do not promise to remove copies held by unrelated third parties. Do not submit confidential information unless a suitable agreement is in place.
Editorial content and external services
Fiction, reviews, opinion and commentary should be understood in their stated context. Reporting can contain errors and change as new information emerges. Send corrections with evidence and the relevant URL. Content is general information and is not individualized legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.
Third-party names and trademarks belong to their owners. Articles about a franchise or product do not imply endorsement or affiliation. External links, images and services can be unavailable or operate under their own terms. Use public content within applicable copyright exceptions or obtain permission; these terms do not grant rights in third-party works.
Newsletters, changes and availability
Newsletters are optional and can be stopped through their unsubscribe links or our contact address. Essential account-security or requested recovery messages are separate from marketing subscriptions. We may change or discontinue features, but will provide any notice or remedy required by applicable law.
We aim to keep the service usable but cannot promise uninterrupted access, complete accuracy or freedom from security incidents. Do not rely on WASABI as the sole copy of work you cannot afford to lose.
Liability, disputes and mandatory rights
To the extent applicable law permits, the service is provided as available, and we exclude implied assurances that a particular feature will always meet a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including relevant consumer and data-protection rights. We do not impose a blanket waiver of claims or mandatory arbitration through this page.
These terms are subject to applicable law, including mandatory consumer and data-protection rights. Contact us first if you want to seek an informal resolution, but doing so is not a condition of contacting a regulator or exercising a legal remedy. Any court’s jurisdiction is determined by applicable rules, not a promise that one forum overrides every visitor’s mandatory rights.
Contact and requests
Send privacy requests, corrections, complaints and legal notices to wasabimedia623@gmail.com. Identify the relevant account or page and explain what you need. Do not send passwords, reset links, unnecessary identity documents or sensitive information.
We may need proportionate evidence of identity or authority before disclosing, changing or deleting account data. We aim to respond promptly and must meet any response period that applicable law requires. You may complain directly to a relevant data-protection authority without contacting us first.
Updates
We will identify changes with a revised date and provide further notice where a material change or applicable law requires it. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen.
WASABI is operated by WASABI Media (independent publication). Questions about this document, privacy requests, legal notices or complaints all go to the same contact channel for review.
