Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble Delayed to 2027 as Solo Leveling KARMA Gets New Trailers
Anime fans have two big gaming updates to check out this week. Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton has been delayed from its planned 2026 release window to 2027, but the announcement came alongside a new trailer. At the same time, Solo Leveling: KARMA has received two new trailers offering a closer look at its gameplay and story.
Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton Delayed
Fans waiting to jump into the world of Jujutsu Kaisen will have to wait a little longer. Shueisha Games and poncle, the studio behind Vampire Survivors, have moved Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton from 2026 to 2027. The developers said the additional time will be used to deliver the experience they are aiming for.
The new trailer gives fans another look at the game's survivors royale gameplay and showcases eight bosses, including Naoya Zenin, Kenjaku, Junpei Yoshino, Jogo, Mahito, Uraume, Eso and Toji Fushiguro. The game puts Jujutsu Kaisen characters into an online survival experience where players battle cursed spirits and rival players, collect experience, build their abilities and fight to become the last player standing. The game is currently planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam, with support for up to eight players.
Solo Leveling: KARMA Gets Two New Trailers
While Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble has been pushed back, Solo Leveling: KARMA is showing more of what it has in store. Netmarble and Netmarble Neo released two new trailers for the roguelite action RPG during Tokyo Game Show 2026. One is a game overview trailer focused on gameplay, while the other is a cinematic trailer that explores the game's original story. The gameplay footage highlights the different fighting styles of Hunters and Shadows, giving players a closer look at the combat and character abilities.
The cinematic trailer focuses on the 27-year-long Monarch War, an unexplored period of Sung Jinwoo's story set inside the dimensional gap. It also introduces the mystery surrounding Hunters affected by an unnatural power.
Solo Leveling: KARMA is currently scheduled for release on PC, iOS and Android in 2026.
Two Anime Games Taking Different Approaches
Both games are bringing popular anime worlds into different types of gaming experiences.
Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton is built around multiplayer survival action, with players fighting cursed spirits and other players in chaotic matches.
Solo Leveling: KARMA is taking a roguelite action RPG approach while using an original story to explore a previously unseen part of Sung Jinwoo's journey.
With new footage now available for both games, anime fans have a better look at what each title is preparing to offer.
